auftrag.at-search in the new house

On 1 March 2022, we successfully relocated all regular customers and users of the old auftrag.at-search to the new home, i.e. to our new platform for finding public contracts, suche.auftrag.at.

To make the transition as smooth as possible, the old and new auftrag.at search were kept running in parallel over a period of three months. This allowed regular customers to test and compare all improvements in full, free of charge.

End of parallel operation

This parallel operation of the old and new auftrag.at-search ended on 1 March 2022. At that time all search profiles and account data of the users of the old search have been automatically migrated to the new search platform. Afterwards, all search functions on the old auftrag.at site have been deactivated.

The auftrag.at eTendering, i.e. the possibility to take part in public tenders online as a bidder, remains available on the familiar eTendering platform as usual.

Search hits by e-mail – new look with the familiar reliability

Even with the end of parallel operation, the e-mails with tenders sent out daily on the basis of search profiles will be delivered to all users of the auftrag.at search in the morning as usual. The hit mails are also presented in a new, easy-to-read design and with additional information that makes it easier to browse through interesting tenders more quickly. The data for this was automatically taken over from the old search.

No innovations without changes

For all those who have already used the auftrag.at-search before November 2021, we have summarised the most important changes after the end of the parallel operation of the old and new auftrag.at search on 1 March 2022 in the following video. Below you will find a written summary of the changes:

How do I get to the new auftrag.at-search?

As of 1 March 2022, the auftrag.at search for public contracts will only be available at suche.auftrag.at.

Which user data can I use to log in to the new auftrag.at-search?

If you have already used the old auftrag.at-search, you can use the same user data from the old auftrag.at search to access the new one without any changes.

What happened to my search profiles from the old auftrag.at search?

All search profiles and data that you created in the old auftrag.at-search were migrated to the new search platform as of 1 March 2022. You can find it here.

Will I continue to receive hit emails from my search profiles from the old auftrag.at-search?

Yes, you will continue to receive daily emails with search hits (hit emails) every day morning if there are tenders that fit your active search profiles.
Active search profiles created in the old search were automatically migrated to the new auftrag.at-search as of 1 March 2022. Hit emails are sent as usual to the email addresses you entered in your search profiles in the old auftrag.at-search. These were also automatically migrated to the new auftrag.at search as of 1 March 2022.

Why do the search profiles transferred from the old search look different? And why can’t I edit these search profiles?

In order to significantly improve and accelerate the new auftrag.at search, we have completely redesigned it from a technical point of view. In order to be able to transfer your search profiles as unchanged as possible, it was necessary to display these search profiles in a different way. Because of this, you will not be able to change the search profiles that have been taken over.

What do I do if I want to create a new search profile?

Just klick on the tile "Create a new search profile" located at the auftrag.at-search dashboard and build a new search profile.

In order to allow users who have already taken over their search profiles before 23 November 2021 to create new search profile without the need to delete migrated search profiles, we have doubled the number of search profiles included in their subscription permanently, free of charge for these customers.

Where can I find my procedures marked as "My tenders"?

All tenders that you saved in the old auftrag.at-search under "My tenders" can be found after entering the new auftrag.at search under the menu item "bookmark". These were automatically transferred to the new auftrag.at-search as of 1 March 2022.
